About the Role: Visible Alpha is hiring a new Director, Data Science and Insights to lead a team of data scientists focused on providing new data and analytics solutions to clients and internal teams. Reporting into the Head of Data Science in New York, the team is part of the Product organization focused on developing new data products. What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Do:

• Lead, coach and mentor a team of data scientists to deliver large scale data science projects, as well as coordinate operations with engineering teams as needed.
• Utilize Python and SQL through a variety of data manipulation, scientific computing, applied statistics, machine learning and data visualization projects.
• Work cross functionally within Visible Alpha\xe2\x80\x99s commercial and operational datasets for both internal and client-facing projects.
• Work on all parts of data science workflow; exploratory analysis of new datasets, create/monitor KPIs and build dashboards for the organization, as well as deliver predictive models for commercial sale.

We\xe2\x80\x99d Love for you to Have:

• Ten plus years in a data science and analytics role, and three plus years of experience managing a data science team in a product research-focused role.
• Advanced degree in a computational field and/or a history of working as an individual contributor data scientist role.
• Familiarity with financial datasets, equities market, and fundamental research.
