As the Data Product Manager, you will:

  • Support work to set the vision and strategy for data products across Global Supply Chain, guided by a clear understanding of business value and customer needs.
  • Translate business needs into requirements as input into the design, build, and iteration of the data product.
  • Create and maintain data product roadmaps, leading the ongoing delivery and management of the product from inception to maturity.
  • Act as the voice of the business to prioritize building what matters most to enable the strategic goals of the enterprise.
  • Own and manage a feature backlog, teaming with architects, analysts, and engineers to elaborate requirements.
  • Collaborate with the IT organization to ensure appropriate resourcing and prioritization to meet business timelines.
  • Own and manage the business metadata and metrics for their data products.
  • Engage and collaborate with partners and stakeholders to gather input and communicate plans, timelines, and deliveries.
  • Champion agile, iterative development processes while ensuring data products are Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.
Essential Skills/Experience
  • Understanding of the principles of Data Product Management, ideally having worked in a similar Data Product Manager role
  • Supply Chain Management knowledge
  • Familiarity with data engineering concepts such as ETL, data modelling, data lakes/databases, reference data, master data etc.
  • Experience leading or working on agile development teams
  • Requirements development and prioritization skills
  • Excellent leadership, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience establishing, communicating, and executing product roadmaps
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to make data-driven decisions
Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Experience of working in a global organization where partners and project teams are geographically dispersed
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s degree or higher in a scientific or technical subject area
  • Relevant experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
  • Familiarity with data science, data visualization, and reporting concepts
