Job Description

The Director of Data and Integration is responsible for leading the strategy, architecture, and execution of enterprise data management and system integration initiatives. This role ensures that data across the organization is accurate, accessible, secure, and seamlessly integrated across platforms to enable business insights, operational efficiency, and innovation. The director will collaborate with business leaders, data engineers, architects, and IT teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and future-ready data and integration solutions.Strategic Leadership - Provide strategic leadership by defining and executing the enterprise data and integration strategy in alignment with business objectives. Establish robust frameworks for data governance, quality, and stewardship, while driving the standardization and modernization of integration practices including APIs, event-driven architectures, and ETL/ELT processes. Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities for data-driven decision-making and support digital transformation initiatives. Data Management & Integration - Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data platforms including data lakes, warehouses, and integration hubs. Lead integration efforts across enterprise applications, cloud platforms, and third-party systems to ensure data interoperability, consistency, and real-time availability. Promote best practices in API management, microservices architecture, and middleware integration. Technology & Architecture - Develop and enforce standards for data and integration architecture, while evaluating and implementing emerging technologies such as iPaaS, data fabric, streaming platforms, and API gateways. Ensure all solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant, and continuously optimize the performance of existing pipelines and integrations. People & Collaboration - Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, integration developers, and architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Partner with IT security, compliance, and business stakeholders to ensure strategic alignment across initiatives. Governance & Compliance - Implement policies to ensure data privacy, security, and regulatory compliance with standards such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA. Monitor adherence to enterprise data governance and lead master data and metadata management initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Management or related field. 10+ years of experience in data management, integration, or related disciplines. 5+ years of leadership experience in managing cross-functional data/integration teams.

Preferred Qualifications:Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Data Management Strong knowledge of data architecture, ETL/ELT, APIs, microservices, and real-time streaming. Expertise with data platforms (e.g., AWS, Informatica, MuleSoft). Proven track record in implementing large-scale integration and data transformation projects. Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with AI/ML integration into enterprise data ecosystems is a plus.
