Post Graduate degree in communications or a business-related field Considerable experience in areas of communications, Corporate, External and State affairs Expertise in internal or external corporate communications Experience in the pharmaceutical, Medical Devices or Biotechnology industry Experience in Regulatory Affairs Experience managing Public Relations or Communications in several brands and at different stages of the lifecycle Extensive experience of digital and social media


Responsibilities




Drives the development and implementation of Corporate Affairs, Communications, Government Affairs, and Policy-shaping strategies to build a credible corporate reputation for internal and external stakeholders. Works with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives. Building Corporate Reputation: Leading the development and execution of Public Relations strategies for a portfolio of brands, enhances the Clients reputation through crisis management, and maintains relationships with officials and regulators, collaborating with departments like HR, Compliance, and Legal, provides public relations counsel, and communicates key legislative and regulatory developments internally, supporting the company//'s People and Sustainability agenda. Strategic Corporate Communications: Overseeing all internal and external communications for functions and brands, helping leaders develop strategies aligned with brand and global communications strategies. It ensures communication alignment with Corporate Affairs and other internal functions, supports corporate communications for the Office of the President and of the Client's India spokespersons, and works cross-functionally to position corporate messages and create advocacy. Additionally, leading the development of local press releases for brand-related material information in support of senior leaders. Government Affairs: Championing and overseeing the development of strong external relationships with stakeholders such as policymakers, patient advocacy groups, and clinical experts. It involves creating strategies for stakeholder engagement, maximizing the impact of partnerships and media efforts, and building strategic relationships with government officials and NGOs in line with business priorities. The role gathers intelligence and provides strategic insights to guide business opportunities and ensure sustainable benefits for patients and stakeholders. It requires collaboration with various internal teams to achieve company goals and empowers senior leaders to represent Client's objectives. * Policy Shaping: Developing policy-shaping strategies and patient activation partnerships aligned with enterprise and therapeutic area priorities, creating advocacy and policy interventions like consensus development and national guidelines. Driving government agencies and stakeholders towards creating advocacies and policies to enhance the health ecosystem and patient access to healthcare, aligned with Client//'s core strategies. The role involves monitoring policy and political activities affecting Client's and developing strategies to influence them, as well as engaging with agencies on pharmaceutical policies impacting the company.
