As the Director of AI Agentic at Indus Trust Bangalore you will lead the integration of autonomous AI systems into a K-12 IB environment, building upon Indus's existing work with patent-holding humanoid robots like Eagle. You will work alongside a high-caliber team of IITians and design thinking experts to evolve the "Exponential Curriculum" through human-AI collaborative learning.
Role & Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Define and execute the roadmap for Agentic AI in education, shifting from simple humanoid interaction to autonomous AI agents that can manage personalized student pathways.
Curriculum Integration:
Embed AI agents into the IB framework (PYP/MYP/DP) to support inquiry-based pedagogy, life entrepreneurship, and innovation.
Human-Robot Collaboration:
Advance the "Collaborative Learning Model," where AI agents (digital or humanoid) work in harmony with teachers to enhance student performance.
Multi-Agent Orchestration:
Design workflows where multiple AI agents interact to solve complex educational or operational problems within the Indus ecosystem.
Innovation & R&D:
Lead the Indus Humanoid Lab in developing next-generation "Eagle" models capable of complex decision-making and real-time student sentiment analysis.
Responsible AI Governance:
Establish ethical guardrails and safety protocols for AI interactions with students, ensuring compliance with global standards.
Job Specifications & Skills
Frameworks & Tools
: Hands-on expertise in LangChain, LangGraph, or AutoGen for multi-agent orchestration and Azure AI/OpenAI stacks.
Emerging Tech
: Integration experience with AR/VR/MR to create immersive, agent-led learning environments.
System Architecture
: Ability to build scalable "AI Blueprints" that can be deployed across multiple Indus Trust campuses.
Collaborative Mindset
: Experience working in interdisciplinary teams involving researchers, engineers (IITians), and academic faculty.
Expected Candidate Profile Experience
: 10-15+ years in technology leadership, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML transformation or robotics.
Educational Background
: A Master's by research or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI, Robotics, or Computational Neuroscience is highly preferred.
Technical Pedigree
: Ideally an alumnus of premier institutes (like IITs) or a background in leading R&D labs.
Soft Skills
: Exceptional ability to translate complex AI concepts for non-technical stakeholders (parents, students, and C-suite).
