We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director - Admissions to lead our admissions strategy, drive student enrollment targets, manage large-scale tele-calling operations, and build a data-driven, high-performing team. The ideal candidate should combine operational sharpness with strategic insight and be capable of scaling processes for national and international admissions.
Admission Strategy & Target Achievement
Develop and execute annual and seasonal admission plans aligned with institutional goals.
Drive student enrollment campaigns to meet and exceed admission targets across all programs.
Monitor performance metrics daily and course-correct proactively.
Team Leadership & Tele-Counseling Management
Lead, train, and scale a team of 50+ tele-callers, counselors, and admission officers.
Build a performance-based culture with clear KPIs, dashboards, and incentive models.
Conduct regular reviews, team huddles, and mentoring sessions to improve call conversions.
Budgeting & Resource Planning
Create and manage the admissions department's annual budget, including hiring, software, communication tools, and training needs.
Forecast resource needs for peak admission seasons and optimize ROI across marketing channels.
Process Optimization & Tech Enablement
Set up CRM systems and call tracking workflows for real-time reporting and funnel visibility.
Implement SOPs, lead distribution logic, and response TAT for seamless operations.
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Digital Marketing, Academics, IT, and Branding teams to align campaigns, creatives, and messaging.
Collaborate with international offices, regional representatives, and partner networks to drive global admissions.
Reporting & Communication
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly performance dashboards for leadership.
Present insights, challenges, and recommendations during strategy meetings with Chancellor's Office.
Qualifications & Skills:
10-20 years of experience in admissions, preferably in higher education (medical/university background preferred).
Proven track record of achieving or exceeding admission targets.
Strong leadership skills with experience in managing large counseling/tele-calling teams.
Excellent communication, planning, and people management abilities.
Tech-savvy with knowledge of CRM systems, IVR solutions, Google Sheets/Dashboards, etc.
