The OPD Coordinator will oversee and streamline all outpatient department operations to ensure smooth patient flow, effective coordination among consultants, and high-quality patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate daily OPD schedules and appointments for consultants.
Ensure smooth patient registration, billing, and consultation flow.
Maintain accurate patient records and assist in managing OPD statistics and reports.
Coordinate with nursing, billing, and medical records teams for efficient service delivery.
Monitor waiting times and address patient queries and grievances courteously.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, grooming, and service quality standards.
Support departmental audits, feedback collection, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking ability.
Knowledge of hospital management systems (HMS) preferred.
Good computer skills (MS Office, Excel).
Pleasant personality and professional grooming.
Qualification:
Graduate in any discipline (Healthcare or Hospital Management preferred).
