Greetings from Parag Milk Foods,

We are looking for a Direct Tax Executive (experienced in TDS and SAP software),

Experience - Minimum 2 years,

Location - Nariman Point, Mumbai.

Responsibilities:-

1) TDS compliance:

Deduct, deposit, and file quarterly TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q,27Q,26QB,26QC,27EQ) on time. Filing of 15CA/CB for Foreign payments (Part A/B/C/D) understanding. LDC understanding and updating same in SAP and TDS returns. Ensure compliance with TDS provisions, including correct rates and applicability. Liaise with vendors and employees for correct vendor information and tax status.

2) Employee taxation:

Calculate and process employee tax liabilities, including monthly payroll tax deductions. Manage employee tax declarations, proofs, and Form 16 generation. Handle professional tax compliance and contributions.

Reconciliation and reporting:

Reconcile TDS payments with Form 26AS, vendor payments, and ledger accounts. Reconciliation of TDS Receivable with form 26AS and AIS/TIS with books. Reconcile and issue TDS certificates to employees and vendors. Assist in preparing tax-related MIS reports and financial statements.

Tax assessments and audits:

Assist with tax audits and assessments related to TDS and employee tax matters. Provide data and support for tax litigation and notice responses.

Other duties:

Keep updated on changes in direct tax and TDS laws. Communicate and resolve tax-related queries from employees and other departments. Process and review transactions using the company's accounting software (e.g., SAP). Maintain proper documentation and records for all tax-related activities.
