Job Title-Accountant - Direct & Indirect Taxation

Location:

Andheri, Mumbai

Experience:

2 to 5 years (preferred in taxation and accounting)

Qualification:

B.Com / M.Com / Inter CA or equivalent

Job Responsibilities:

Direct Taxation

Prepare and file

Income Tax returns

for individuals and businesses. Compute and maintain

advance tax

,

TDS

&

self-assessment tax

workings. Handle

tax audit documentation

and coordinate with auditors. Maintain records for all

direct tax assessments, notices, and correspondence

.

Indirect Taxation (GST)

Handle

GST registrations

,

monthly/quarterly return filing (GSTR-1, 3B, 9)

. Prepare

reconciliations between books and GST returns

. Manage

Input Tax Credit (ITC)

and ensure compliance with GST laws. Coordinate with auditors for

GST audit

and respond to queries / notices.

TDS Compliance

Ensure timely

deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS returns (Form 24Q, 26Q)

. Prepare

TDS reconciliation statements

and maintain records for Form 16 / 16A. Track and ensure accuracy in

TDS certificates

and tax credit statements (Form 26AS).

Accounting & General

Maintain

day-to-day accounting

entries in Tally / ERP system. Handle

accounts payable & receivable

,

bank reconciliations

,

journal entries

. Assist in

finalization of accounts

and preparation of

MIS reports

. Support

statutory & internal audits

.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of

Indian Accounting Standards

Hands-on experience with

Tally ERP / Excel

Good understanding of

Income Tax, GST, and TDS

Ability to handle

compliance, audits, and reconciliations

Attention to detail and good communication skills
