JOB ROLE: Global Engineering Maintenance Excellent Leader (MeX) will lead the development and implementation of Teva's maintenance strategy and methodology. Develop statistical base tools for corrective preventive & predictive maintenance, all in order to improve production yield, compliance, reduce malfunctions and improve COGS. The MeX leader will also oversee Teva's spare parts policy and management processes and will lead an optimization process in order to reduce network spare parts spend and inventory. MeX leader will interface with the different manufacturing segments and sites, create community of best practices and will support GE Segment BP in the implementation of Teva's maintenance strategy and methodology at the site level. DETAILED DESCRIPTION Of KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Define, develop and lead Teva Maintenance Excellence program, covering the implementation and transition into a sustainable state with special focus on the following (but not limited to): Vision and process of how to achieve Maintenance Excellence Working processes & best practices Spare parts policy to improve availability and reduce inventory level and costs Improve functional Integrated Activity Planning Reliability based Maintenance Implement of statistical tools and planning capabilities Alignment to Teva SAP processes Maintenance Management Systems (meeting structure and reporting) Uptime management and analysis Short Description Define and write Teva global maintenance policies and standards Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support maintenance activity and monitor progress Align with OPEX leadership team on methodology for business improvement, developing problem structuring frameworks and fact base analysis best practices tools for maintenance Work with Global Procurement on vendor management, contracts and spare parts management. Work with IT to develop maintenance management systems Lead Maintenance Excellence Program across the entire Teva organization Cooperate and align with the GE units for site implementation of the different program, standards and process. Coach SMEs in MeX policy, philosophies and standards Develop the program content and training materials / process to enable sites to establish and operate a site lead reliability program. Long Description Develop a maintenance assessment process and tool to evaluate the current state of site maintenance operations and establish a maintenance masterplan to be used to improve areas of opportunity. Establish community of best practices for the different maintenance areas. Prepare timely reports to different management levels (including top management). Manage local and international stakeholder interfaces (e.g., Procurement, Engineering, QA, EH&S, HR, Finance), to ensure the GE process is in alignment and creates synergy with all other business processes throughout the organization. Working in a complex matrix organizational environment, with multiple internal and external interfaces, to create cooperation for achieving well-established maintenance process. Working according to global standards as well as regulation guidelines and in correlation with Teva Global Strategy. Taking part in internal department projects, as well as creating processes and global guidelines. With the input of the site maintenance leaders provide the SME to definite and implement the CMMS and other IT platforms to manage the site maintenance program. Constantly explore innovative tools and new technology in the maintenance area Understand and track external and internal development within area of expertise including regulatory, environmental, technology trends and changes Qualifications Education: B.A / Bsc. degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Chemical / Industrial) and / or M.A / Msc. degree in Engineering - Must Experience: 10+ years in a global process industry , 7+ years in maintenance and engineering including project management and control - Must Experience in global, large, complex, multi-level organizational interfaces - Must Excellent understanding of global program management and interrelationships - Must Previous experience in the design or implementation of transformation program or in operational or Maintenance Excellence program - Advantage Experience in Maintenance methods implementation - Advantage Maintenance statistical tools and method experience - Advantage Plant engineering background - Advantage Global, multinational experience - Advantage .
