Diploma in Textile Engineering (preferably in Spinning/Manmade Fibres)
Experience:
0-5 years (Freshers with relevant Diploma can also apply)
Key Responsibilities:
Production Supervision
Monitor and control day-to-day spinning operations in synthetic yarn production.
Ensure optimum machine efficiency, production targets, and waste control.
Plan shift operations and allocate manpower effectively.
Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance coordination with the maintenance team.
Maintain accurate shift-wise production and downtime records.
Quality Control
Conduct quality checks at various spinning stages (doffing, winding, cone quality, yarn strength, etc.).
Ensure adherence to yarn quality standards (denier, tenacity, elongation, U%, hairiness, etc.).
Analyze yarn defects (neps, slubs, thick & thin places, etc.) and take corrective actions.
Support lab testing and reporting for customer requirements.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product quality.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure adherence to safety standards and maintain a clean working environment.
Train operators/workers in best practices of production and quality.
Comply with ISO/5S/lean manufacturing and organizational SOPs.
Key Skills:
Knowledge of synthetic fibre spinning (Polyester, Nylon, Viscose, etc.).
Strong understanding of yarn quality parameters and testing methods.
Ability to handle shift production independently.
Analytical skills for root cause analysis of production & quality issues.
Good leadership, team handling & reporting skills.
