Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Design and develop mechanical components of transformers, ensuring compliance with industry standards governing power, distribution, and special transformers.

Create detailed mechanical drawings, models, and designs using CAD software.

Develop tank, cooling system, core clamping, and structural component designs for transformers.

Ensure mechanical designs meet thermal, dielectric, and structural performance requirements.

Generate accurate Bills of Material (BOM) for all mechanical components.

Conduct mechanical stress and thermal analysis for transformer components.

Collaborate with electrical design teams to ensure alignment between mechanical and electrical specifications.

Provide technical support to manufacturing, quality, and procurement teams.

Review and approve mechanical designs, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

Identify and implement design improvements to enhance reliability, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure compliance with ISO-9001 Quality Management System (QMS) and other applicable standards.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including production and sales, to support company objectives.

Mentor and guide junior mechanical engineers and technicians.

Complete design activities within project deadlines and schedules.

Perform additional duties as assigned by the Head of Engineering.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
