Key responsibilities also involve interpreting technical drawings, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining records of all work performed. Core responsibilities Maintenance and repair: Conduct routine inspections, diagnose faults, and perform repairs on mechanical systems and equipment. Machinery operation: Operate and maintain machinery, including lathe, grinding, welding, and cutting machines. Assembly and installation: Assist in the assembly, installation, and fitting of mechanical components and systems. Quality control: Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality output and adherence to industry standards. Technical interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide work. Safety and compliance Safety adherence: Ensure all operations comply with safety, cleanliness, and operational standards. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and equipment issues. Collaboration and support Teamwork: Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to achieve production goals and solve problems. Project support: Support senior technicians and engineers on various projects as needed.
