Job Description

The Digital Surveyor will be responsible for carrying out accurate site surveys, developing detailed digital models, and ensuring all residential project data is precisely captured, processed, and integrated into design and construction workflows. This role combines traditional surveying expertise with modern digital technologies such as total stations, 3D scanners, drones, and BIM tools to deliver high-quality data for planning, design, and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct precise land and building surveys for residential projects using total stations, GPS, and laser scanning equipment. Prepare and process digital survey data, topographic maps, and 3D models for project design and planning. Verify boundaries, levels, and dimensions to ensure alignment with project requirements and approved drawings. Utilize CAD/BIM software to convert survey data into accurate digital models and site layouts. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to support design coordination and layout verification. Monitor and record as-built conditions and maintain accurate geospatial records throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct drone surveys (if applicable) for aerial mapping and volumetric analysis. Ensure compliance with surveying standards, quality, and safety protocols. Manage survey instruments, calibration, and data storage in accordance with company standards. Prepare survey reports, drawings, and documentation for client and internal reviews.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geomatics, Surveying, or a related field. 3-6 years of experience in land or digital surveying, preferably within residential or real estate projects. Proficiency in Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or Revit. Experience with 3D laser scanning, drone surveys, or BIM integration will be an advantage. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently on-site and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
