Description and Requirements

Role: Sr. Network Analyst - Optical Fiber
Shift: 6PM IST to 3 AM IST

Required Skills for this role:

Good blend of telecom domain and technical skills.

Knowledge of ISP, OSP, Fiber, Copper & other emerging technologies

Good Hands on Experience on AutoCAD

Good Hands on Experience on Civil design Plans

Advanced working knowledge on MS-Office applications & Technical systems

Planning Designing of Telecom Passive network for FTTx/GPON technology

Good understanding of Optical distribution and last mile local networks (up to customer premises).

Good understanding of OSP construction activities

Understand design aspects for fiber rollout

Strong GIS skills with two or more GIS packages

Excellent verbal / written communication skills

Design optical fibre cable to commercial and residential premises, multi-dwelling units.

Expert for FTTP,FTTN, FTTB, FTTC technology

Good knowledge of BOQ and BOM

Knowledge of Network survey, Reading Design drawings, Trenching , OSP routes & activity

Ability Liaise with Onshore Tech to resolve offshore challenges

Good technical skills on Telecom Fiber/Copper Network architecture Planning and Engineering.

OSP inventory in FMS

Adequate knowledge in GIS tools & application like Spatial NET.

Basic experience of SAP , Net Cracker , Remedy Ticket systems.

Identify any related projects and networks created that will have built detailed in the current tactical plan (Network Management Systems, Feeder/Transport Fiber Builds, etc.)

Drafting and GIS analysis concepts (Deployment of fiber for GPON project aerial as well as underground)

Knowledge of outside plant design

Demonstrated professional oral and written English communications skills.

Self-motivated, works well with minimal or no direct supervision.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaboratively with other departments.

Maintain a high level of performance under the pressure of time constraints and a fast-paced changing environment.

Demonstrated ability in planning and organizing to meet scheduled deadlines.

Education

4-year Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience, preferably in Electronics and Telecommunications.

Job Responsibilities \xe2\x97\x8f Providing support for all engineering design requirements of the project with the customer\'s engineering requirements, engineering guidelines and standard practices and create/modify GIS Inventories in GIS tools (i.e. myWORLD) by following the process workflow (performing trace functions, placing a drop, add a drop etc.) \xe2\x97\x8f Creation and maintenance of GIS inventories in the Inventory Management System / Record Keeping System \xe2\x97\x8f Doing Record Correction (RCO) work for copper and fibre connections in SpatialNET tool (Autocad based tool) \xe2\x97\x8f Analyze the requirements of the job to determine what steps need to be taken and follow a workflow. \xe2\x97\x8f Creation and maintenance of your daily data in the team\'s dashboard \xe2\x97\x8f Creation and maintenance of individual time tracking and effort of the work done daily \xe2\x97\x8f Interface with and respond to internal and external stake holders.
