We are seeking an experienced security professional with strong expertise in Vulnerability Management, Cloud Security, Data Security, and Application Security. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in change management, incident handling, and ticket closure, combined with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Security Strategy and Policy execution:
- Develop and implement comprehensive data security strategies and policies.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Configure and manage DLP policies to monitor and protect sensitive data.
- Perform regular audits and reviews of DLP incidents to identify potential data breaches.
- Implement automated responses to prevent data exfiltration.
- Utilize classify tools to monitor and protect sensitive data within the organization.
- Analyze file activity and user behavior to detect abnormal access patterns.
- Ensure data access permissions are aligned with the principle of least privilege.
- Use and fine-tune automated data classification and labelling.
- Implement and maintain policies for consistent data classification across the organization.
- Train employees on the importance and usage of data classification labels.
2. Risk and Compliance, Incident Response and Management:
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify and mitigate data security risks.
- Ensure compliance and regulations should meet the current compliance standards.
- Maintain documentation and evidence for audits and regulatory inspections.
- Develop and maintain an incident response plan for data security incidents.
- Coordinate with the response team to investigate and remediate data breaches incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
3. Security Awareness and Training:
- Develop and deliver security awareness training programs for employees.
- Promote a culture of data security within the organization.
- Ensure employees understand their roles and responsibilities in protecting sensitive data.
4. Collaboration, Stakeholder Management and Continuous Improvement:
- Work closely with IT, legal, compliance, and other departments to ensure data security initiatives are effectively implemented.
- Communicate data security policies and procedures to all relevant stakeholders.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the status of data security to senior management.
- Stay updated on the latest data security trends, threats, and technologies.

Qualifications:
Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of VMDR tools, GCP security, DLP, Data Classification, WAF.
  • Hands-on experience with incident response, policy enforcement, and risk mitigation.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 9-13 years of experience in data security, with a focus on DLP, data classification, and protection.
  • Proven experience with Forcepoint DLP, Varonis, and Titus tools would be preferred.
Experience with other DLP and data classification tools.
Knowledge of NIST, ISO 27001, and other security frameworks would be add-on.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
Proven experience in implementing data protection and privacy measures.
Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools such as Forcepoint DLP or any other.
Hands-on experience with any data classification tools.
Experience with security monitoring and analytics tools like Varonis.
Experience in developing and executing incident response plans.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with IT and business teams.
