ROLE PURPOSE & OBJECTIVE
Define and own the overall tech roadmap for the Vehicle Finance department
Drive partnerships with external parties/vendors to generate additional business
Manage relationship with key stakeholders in smooth functioning of business

SIZE OF THE ROLE

Build system capability to manage ~10-15K disbursements per month
Manage Team of 2-4 reportees
Responsible for driving VF business through tech initiatives and enablers
IV.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1.
Business
Define & own direction and scope of the product, create roadmap & outline critical milestones
Own the Product Development Lifecycle for the department ensuring the end result meets the objective by managing internal stakeholders
Work towards developing tech enablers for growth of business [TW & 4W business]
Drive negotiations and setting up collaborations with DSA/Fintech partners

Customer
Monitor market trends and competition, stay up to date with changing competitor tech landscape which is crucial in making strategic decisions and defining the product roadmap
Own the analysis of product performance through close monitoring of key metrics and identify areas of improvement. Measure success of the product launches vs the north star metrics
Explore partnerships with DSA/Fintech/LSPs for growth of business from alternate channels
3.
Internal Process
Coordinate with internal stakeholders & IT team to get relevant approvals to ensure smooth launch of the product
Drive the approval of system related manuscripts [Product/Process notes] by coordinating with internal stakeholders
Coordinate with internal stakeholders in troubleshooting & resolving tech related issues
Ensure all channel development activities comply with relevant regulations, and internal policies
Collaborate with the Compliance, Audit & Risk team to assess and mitigate risks associated
Timely response & adherence to audit & compliance queries
4.
Innovation & Learning
Manage team of 2-4 reportees
Guide the team translate user needs into technical requirements [preparing BRDs] by training them to gather insights through market research, competitor analysis
V.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Educational Qualifications
PGDM/MBA from a Tier 1 or 2 college preferred [not mandatory]
B. Tech in CS/IT specialization preferred
Work Experience
Minimum 7-12 years of experience as Tech Product Management space or similar roles with relevant experience
Experience in managing digital lending channels, fintech integrations, key accounts management etc.
Experience in implementing IT projects & channel integration for one or more businesses
Functional Skills
Experience in defining product strategy, managing tech. roadmaps & leading product development
Experience in banking domain & managing LOS and/or LMS is preferred
