Job Description

A Digital Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing, optimizing, and managing digital processes, platforms, and systems to ensure smooth day-to-day digital business operations. The role connects technology, business goals, and customer experience.

Key Job Roles & Responsibilities

1. Digital Platform Management

Manage websites, mobile apps, CRM, CMS, ERP, and other digital tools Ensure platforms are stable, secure, and high-performing Coordinate updates, upgrades, and integrations
2. Process Optimization

Design and improve digital workflows Automate processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work Identify operational gaps and implement solutions
3. Team & Vendor Management

Lead digital operations teams (IT, marketing ops, e-commerce, support) Coordinate with external vendors, agencies, and technology partners Assign tasks, track performance, and ensure deadlines are met
4. Data & Performance Monitoring

Track KPIs such as uptime, conversion rates, traffic, system efficiency Analyse data to improve operations and decision-making Prepare performance reports for senior management
5. Compliance & Security

Ensure data privacy, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance Implement access controls and risk-management practices Handle audits and system documentation
6. Customer Experience Support

Ensure smooth digital customer journeys Work with support teams to resolve digital issues Improve UX based on feedback and analytics
7. Cross-Functional Coordination

Act as a bridge between IT, marketing, sales, and operations Align digital operations with business goals Support product launches and digital campaigns
