Role Overview


As Digital Operations Manager you will lead strategic and operational execution of digital initiatives across online and offline retail channels. This includes launching and scaling digital commerce (D2C, 3P marketplaces) and digitizing dealership operations (SOPs, store management, lead management).
You will also serve as a change leader, guiding cross-functional teams by driving technology adoption, stakeholder alignment, and behavior change. This role demands a combination of eCommerce acumen, operational rigor, transformation strategy and people leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Omnichannel & eCommerce Execution

Develop and execute the omnichannel roadmap spanning D2C, 3P marketplaces, and dealer-integrated digital journeys. Own channel-wise planning: business model, feasibility, legal/finance readiness, launch execution and KPI tracking. Monitor channel performance and implement interventions to drive growth and customer experience.

Operations & Enablement

Design eCommerce ops workflows: pricing, inventory, order flow, allocation, delivery, and customer service. Establish SOPs, SLAs, KPIs, and governance models for seamless execution across internal and dealer ecosystems. Drive onboarding and training for dealers, sales teams, and partners.

Retail Operations Digitization

Define business-side ownership for digital platforms like store management, SOPs, and CRM/lead tools. Partner with field teams to ensure tools are aligned with operational realities and drive behavioral adoption. Use structured feedback and process excellence (PDCA) to iterate and improve tools.

Product & Change Management

Define and evolve user journeys and platform features across customer- and dealer-facing tools. Work closely with IT, vendors, and functional teams to deliver successful rollouts. Lead structured change management initiatives for new tools and process transformations. Act as a change agent, building cross-functional alignment and stakeholder buy-in at multiple levels.

Strategy Execution

Align digital operations roadmap with broader business and transformation objectives. Translate strategic goals into action through operational programs and digital projects. Champion digital-first mindset across zones and functions through playbooks, success stories, and best practices. Engage zonal leaders and executive stakeholders to review progress and drive accountability.

Key Skills & Experience

5-7 years in digital operations, eCommerce roles. Proven success in launching and scaling D2C or marketplace commerce platforms. Understanding of digital adoption frameworks, change management, and stakeholder engagement. Strong ability to manage programs, people, and performance in matrix environments. Familiar with tools like OMS, CRM, LMS, DMS, analytics platforms and digital governance systems. * Strong written and verbal communication with ability to drive alignment across technical and business teams.
