Job Summary



The

Digital Media Expert cum Executive

will play a pivotal role in managing, designing, creating and driving all aspects of digital communication, media visibility, and technology-driven outreach under the Women Safety Wing (WSW) and Bharosa Society for Protection of Women and Children.

The position requires creativity, communication strategy development, design skills, expertise in digital media development and strong understanding of digital ecosystems to enhance the visibility, engagement, and impact of WSW/Bharosa initiatives across Telangana.

Strategic Media and Visibility Planning



Develop, implement and refine comprehensive digital media and visibility strategies for all modules of Women Safety Wing and Bharosa Society. Conceptualize and execute campaigns aligned with women's safety, child protection, and victim rehabilitation.

Content Design, Development and Production



Create as well as supervise the design of posters, infographics, videos, reels, campaign materials and web content. Ensure content is empathetic, accurate and institutionally aligned.

Social Media and Digital Platform Management



Manage official social media handles (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, LinkedIn) and design engagement calendars. Track insights, improve visibility and respond appropriately to public interaction.

Media Relations and External Communication



Liaise with print, television and online media to ensure accurate representation of institutional activities. Draft press releases, media briefs, event notes, and coordinate coverage.

Visibility Tools and Technology Management



Maintain and upgrade visual communication systems including websites, digital archives, dashboards, newsletters, and on-site display tools. Introduce innovative technology solutions such as AR/VR-based tools and analytics dashboards.

Institutional Branding and Capacity Building



Standardize design templates, media guidelines, and institutional branding across all Bharosa Centres. Train Centre staff in communication tools and visibility practices.

Monitoring and Reporting



Track analytics, engagement metrics, campaign reach and prepare monthly visibility dashboards. Document media impact for departmental and donor reports.

3. Job Criteria and Requirements



Requirement :

This is a recurring requirement under Women Safety Wing and Bharosa Society. Hiring will be continuous based on organizational needs and sanctioned posts.

Qualification :

Post-Graduation in Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies or B.Tech/Post-Graduation in Computer Science/Information Technology with diplomas/certifications in

Content Creation, Digital Marketing, Web Designing, or Social Media Management.

Certification in design tools (Adobe Suite, Canva, Figma, Premiere Pro) is desirable.

Minimum 24

months (2 years)

of post-qualification experience in digital media strategy, design, content development and/or social media management. Demonstrated experience managing official social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, X/Twitter, LinkedIn). Proven record in campaign development, content creation, and online visibility for public sector, CSR, or development communication projects.

Knowledge Areas:



Understanding of

government branding, survivor related communication protocols in grave offences against women and children and CSR communication

norms. Familiarity with

digital media creation and analytics tools

such as Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and YouTube Studio. Knowledge of ethical, survivor-sensitive communication principles.

Skill Sets



High proficiency in

digital design and editing tools

(Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Canva, Figma). Excellent drafting skills in English and Telugu with desirably Hindi/Urdu and ability to create empathetic, high-impact content. Strong interpersonal communication, creativity, and innovation in content strategy. Team player with capacity to multitask and manage multiple digital channels simultaneously.

Languages :

Fluency in

English and Telugu

is essential. Working knowledge of

Hindi and Urdu

will be an added advantage.

Work Location :

Based at

Women Safety Wing Headquarters, Hyderabad

, with periodic coordination visits to all Modules and Bharosa Centres across Telangana.

Days of Work :

Six days a week (Monday to Saturday). May be required to work on off days or public holidays for special media events or urgent campaigns.

Compensation : INR 70,000/- per month

(negotiable up to INR 100,000/- per month) with an annual performance-based increment of up to 7%, as per Bharosa Society and Women Safety Wing retention policy guidelines in effect, availability of fund and requirement of services.

Initial Tenure



Initial outsourcing contract for

1 year

with a

6-month probation

. Continuation subject to annual performance appraisal and availability of sanctioned budget.

4. Position Purpose



The

Digital Media Expert cum Executive

is envisioned to be the creative and strategic anchor of WSW, all of its Modules and Bharosa Society's communication ecosystem. The position ensures that every message, image, and digital footprint strengthens the visibility, credibility, and public trust of Telangana Police's Women Safety Wing, all of its Modules and the Bharosa Society for Protection of Women and Children.

Through innovation, empathy, and professionalism, this role will help transform communication into an instrument of empowerment, awareness, and positive institutional image-building.

5. Review and Performance Evaluation



Performance will be evaluated annually based on:

Quality, creativity, and consistency of digital content. Measurable increase in visibility metrics (followers, engagement, reach). Responsiveness and timeliness in campaign execution. Contribution to institutional branding, training, and technology integration. Compliance with survivor privacy and ethical communication standards.
