Hi, I'm Kapil, I am a Top Rated Plus freelancer (top 1% of all freelancers), performance engineer, SEO expert working at Upwork. When I was a kid, I found the internet very fascinating because it was so easy to find answers to all of my questions!

However, the internet was not easily accessible to me, and I would cycle for miles to access it. When I finally did access it, the internet speed and dial-up internet connection were extremely slow, sometimes taking up to 3 minutes just to open a single webpage. Moreover, I had to pay by the hour to access the internet. And because the speed was so slow, it would take me hours to get the information I was looking for, and I ended up exhausting a week of my pocket money staring at half-loaded pages for most of the time.

This made me wonder why the internet was so slow and why I couldn't get results for my queries in seconds. Was there not a way to speed up the web pages? That's why my goal is to make the web much faster.

About the work from home job/internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Execute tests, collect and analyze data & results, and identify trends & insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns
2. Track, report & work on website analytics, PPC initiatives, and campaigns
3. Manage campaign expenses, stay on budget, estimate monthly costs, and reconcile discrepancies
4. Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing
5. Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization
6. Conduct research and implement search engine optimization recommendations
7. Research and analyze competitor advertising links
8. Develop and implement link building strategy
9. Work with the development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
10. Work with editorial and marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
11. Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking, and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
