Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Software Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining software solutions that enhance our freight forwarding operations. You'll work closely with operations, finance, and customer service teams to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable systems that improve efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain internal applications to support freight forwarding operations. Automate manual workflows across departments (e.g., shipment tracking, invoicing, documentation). Integrate third-party APIs (e.g., carriers, customs, CRM platforms). Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Ensure software quality through testing, debugging, and documentation. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience in full-stack development (e.g., JavaScript, Python, C#, or similar). Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Experience with databases (SQL, NoSQL) and RESTful APIs. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Preferred Skills

Experience in logistics, supply chain, or freight forwarding industry. Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Power Automate, RPA platforms). Familiarity with ERP or TMS systems.
