Job Summary:
The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing, and managing all digital marketing initiatives for Curlys Music Academy. This role is crucial for driving student enrollment, increasing brand visibility, and engaging our community online. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for music and education, combined with proven expertise in digital marketing tools and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to meet enrollment goals and academy objectives.
Conduct market research to identify target audiences (parents, adults, specific instrument learners) and optimize marketing efforts to reach them.
Manage the digital marketing budget and track ROI for all paid campaigns.
Content Creation & Management:
Oversee and manage the academy's website (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace) ensuring content is current, SEO-optimized, and provides a positive user experience.
Create compelling, on-brand content (e.g., blog posts, videos, graphics, course descriptions) that highlights student success, instructor expertise, and course offerings.
Manage and grow the academy's social media presence across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok) with engaging, scheduled content.
Paid Advertising:
Plan, execute, and manage paid digital campaigns (PPC/SEM on Google Ads, social media advertising on Meta/TikTok) targeting prospective students for specific courses and programs.
Continuously monitor, analyze, and optimize ad performance to maximize conversions and reduce cost-per-acquisition (CPA).
SEO & Local Search:
Optimize and manage the academy's Google Business Profile for local visibility.
Email Marketing:
Develop and execute email marketing campaigns (newsletters, promotions, lead nurturing sequences) for current and prospective students.
Manage subscriber lists and analyze email performance metrics.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track, analyze, and report on key digital marketing metrics (website traffic, conversion rates, social media engagement, ad performance) using tools like Google Analytics.
Provide regular, actionable insights and recommendations to the management team.

Experience:
[2-4]+ years of experience in a dedicated digital marketing role, preferably within the education, arts, or music industry.
Technical Skills:
Proven experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta Ads Manager.
Strong understanding of SEO principles and tools.
Proficiency with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, Constant Contact).
Experience managing and updating website content (CMS like WordPress).
Basic proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for social media content creation is a plus.
Soft Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create engaging, error-free copy.
Highly analytical and comfortable working with data to inform decisions.
Self-motivated, creative, and detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
A genuine interest in music and music education is highly desirable.
