Digital & Social Marketing Specialist (Retail - WhatsApp & Website Operations)
Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Digital & Social Media Marketing professional to manage WhatsApp customer communications, website operations, digital marketing campaigns, and social media sales all within the retail domain. This role collaborates closely with the founder to streamline communication, deliver exceptional customer service, and ensure the website and digital presence remain polished, updated, and performance-driven.
Key Responsibilities
1. WhatsApp Management & Social Selling
Handle customer inquiries, orders, and support through the company's WhatsApp Business account.
Respond promptly with product details, organization tips, pool products information, and promotional offers.
Share product updates, offers, and announcements aligned with the founder's strategy.
Maintain a professional, warm, and customer-centric tone to build brand loyalty.
Track WhatsApp performance metrics (response time, engagement rates) and optimize communication based on insights.
Leverage social selling--a strategy focused on building relationships through one-to-one engagement--to drive sales and community loyalty.
2. Website (WordPress) Management
Update the website with new products, offers, blog posts, and visuals.
Ensure product listings (descriptions, pricing, visuals) are accurate, SEO-optimized, and visually compelling.
Regularly audit site content and optimize user experience to improve engagement and conversions.
3. Digital Marketing & Social Media Strategy
Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across channels: social media, email, website, and WhatsApp.
Manage and publish social media content aligned with brand values and campaign objectives; schedule posts across platforms (e.g., Instagram, Facebook).
Track digital performance via KPIs (website traffic, engagement, conversion), using tools such as Google Analytics.
Analyse campaign performance and optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.
4. Collaboration & Insights
Coordinate closely with the founder for strategic alignment on campaigns, branding, and website updates.
Provide feedback on customer queries, campaign performance, and website analytics to inform planning and optimization.
Required Skills
Strong proficiency in WhatsApp Business management and customer communication.
Basic WordPress skills: content updates, plugin management, product listings.
Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
Customer-focused with solid attention to detail.
Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple tasks independently.
Solid understanding of social selling practices and digital marketing fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
Interest in organization, pool games, or related lifestyle/sport products.
Basic graphic design skills (e.g., Canva, Photoshop) for creating visuals for WhatsApp and website.
Familiarity with digital marketing tools: SEO, Google Analytics, social media management dashboards.
Experience in e-commerce, retail marketing, or customer service roles.
Understanding of omnichannel marketing in retail (aligning website, messaging, social, and customer touchpoints).
