SEO Executive - Roles & Responsibilities (2 Years Experience)
1. Keyword Research & Strategy
Conduct keyword research using tools like Google Keyword Planner, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and Ubersuggest.
Identify high-value, low-competition keywords to improve rankings and organic traffic.
Develop and implement keyword strategies based on industry trends.
2. On-Page Optimization
Optimize website pages, meta titles, meta descriptions, header tags, and image alt tags.
Improve internal linking structure for better crawlability and engagement.
Ensure proper URL structure, keyword placement, and SEO-friendly content formatting.
Conduct content gap analysis and share recommendations.
3. Off-Page SEO & Link Building
Execute high-quality link-building activities such as guest posting, directory submissions, and outreach.
Maintain a healthy backlink profile and disavow toxic links.
Monitor competitor backlinks and create strategies to outperform them.
4. Technical SEO
Conduct regular technical audits to identify issues related to crawlability, indexing, mobile responsiveness, site speed, and schema markup.
Coordinate with developers to fix technical errors and improve site performance.
Ensure XML sitemap and robots.txt are properly updated and submitted.
5. Content SEO Coordination
Work with content writers to develop SEO-friendly content (blogs, landing pages, website copy).
Provide keyword briefs, content structure, and optimization guidelines.
Ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and user search intent.
6. Performance Tracking & Reporting
Track daily/weekly keyword rankings and organic traffic.
Create monthly SEO performance reports using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools.
Analyze trends and provide insights for improvements.
7. Competitor Analysis
Continuously monitor competitor websites, keywords, and content strategies.
Identify their strengths and gaps to refine SEO strategy.
8. Collaboration & Implementation
Collaborate with design, development, and marketing teams to implement SEO changes.
Coordinate for website updates and content uploads.
Ensure SEO is incorporated in all digital activities.
9. Staying Updated
Keep up to date with Google algorithm changes, SEO trends, and best practices.
Experiment with new tools and techniques for better rankings.
