The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the hotel's online marketing strategies to maximize room bookings, enhance brand visibility, and drive direct revenue. This role oversees digital campaigns, website management, SEO/SEM, social media presence, online reputation management, and performance analytics to ensure the hotel stands out in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute digital marketing plans in line with the hotel's business goals.
Manage the hotel's official website content, updates, and SEO optimization.
Plan and run paid advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Meta Ads, and OTA promotions.
Drive direct bookings through online channels and reduce dependency on third-party commissions.
Manage and grow the hotel's social media presence (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
Create engaging and brand-consistent content for online platforms.
Monitor and manage online reviews and reputation on OTAs and review platforms (TripAdvisor, Google Reviews, etc.).
Analyze digital campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and prepare performance reports.
Coordinate with external agencies, designers, and content creators as needed.
Stay updated with trends in the hospitality digital marketing landscape and competitor activities.
Work closely with Sales, Front Office, and Revenue Management to design offers, packages, and promotions.
Monitor ROI of digital marketing spend and recommend improvements.
Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and quality standards in all online communications.
Key Skills & Competencies:
In-depth knowledge of digital marketing channels and tools.
Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, PPC, and social media marketing.
Familiarity with OTA platforms and digital reputation management.
Excellent written and visual communication skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret and act on performance data.
Creativity and ability to craft compelling campaigns.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
3-5 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, preferably in the hospitality or tourism industry.
Experience in managing hotel websites, social media, and OTA partnerships is a plus.
