About the internship

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Cold call people using a given database to sell IT products, IT services, IT solutions, IT software, etc.
2. Answer incoming calls from prospective customers and follow-up calls to generate leads and align meetings
3. Ask pertinent questions to understand the customer's requirements
4. Persuade the customer to buy by demonstrating how merchandise or services meet their needs
5. Record the customer's personal information accurately in a computer system
6. Deal with complaints or doubts to safeguard the company's reputation
7. Go the 'extra mile; to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
8. Keep records of calls and sales and record useful information

Requirements and skills:

1. Proven experience in marketing and sales, closing orders virtually or over the phone
2. Experience in the IT Industry or a similar/related industry is a must
3. Excellent communication and presentation skills
4. Proven track record of successfully meeting sales targets preferably over the phone
5. Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints
6. Persistent and result-oriented
7. Patient and have a knack to assess business needs
8. Proficient in English
9. Good team player
10. Fresher or experienced candidate with IT solutions knowledge, preferably from an engineering background
