Digital Marketing Intern supports the marketing team by assisting with content creation, campaign execution, and performance analysis across digital channels. The intern will get hands-on exposure to social media. They work under supervision, learn best practices, and contribute to initiatives that help grow the brand/organization online.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with developing, planning, and executing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels (Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat).
Create engaging content (text, graphics, video) for blogs, social media platforms, websites.
Help maintain a content calendar and schedule posts.
Monitor competitors and industry trends; research new digital marketing tools/strategies.
Support with basic graphic/social media asset creation (maybe using tools like Canva, Adobe, etc.).
Support engagement and community management (responding to comments/posts, helping with outreach/influencer relationships).
Assist in improving or maintaining website content, possibly minor CMS updates.
Desired Skills & Qualifications
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset: ability to ideate content, visuals, messaging.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook).
Basic understanding of content marketing.
Basic design skills (even informal) and/or ability to use design tools (Canva, Photoshop, etc.) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and an eagerness to learn.
