Job Description

Key Responsibilities of Digital Marketing



Developing Digital Marketing Strategies



Identify target audiences and customer segments.

Set goals and KPIs (e.g., traffic, leads, sales).

Choose appropriate digital channels (SEO, PPC, email, social media, etc.).

Plan content, budget, and timelines.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO)



Conduct keyword research.

Optimize website content for search engines.

Improve technical SEO (site speed, mobile-friendliness, etc.).

Build backlinks and improve domain authority.

Search Engine Marketing (SEM) / Pay-Per-Click (PPC)



Create and manage paid ad campaigns (Google Ads, Bing Ads).

Perform A/B testing and conversion tracking.

Analyze ad performance and ROI.

Adjust bidding strategies and targeting.

Content Marketing



Plan and create high-quality blog posts, videos, infographics, etc.

Align content with customer journey stages

Distribute content through the right digital channels.

Monitor engagement and optimize accordingly.

Social Media Marketing



Manage social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).

Schedule and publish posts regularly.

Run paid ad campaigns on social platforms.

Engage with followers and respond to comments/messages.

Email Marketing



Build and segment email lists.

Create newsletters, promotional emails, and automated workflows.

Test email subject lines, content, and CTAs.

Track open rates, click-throughs, and conversions.

Analytics & Reporting



Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and social media insights.

Monitor website traffic, bounce rate, conversion rate, etc.

Generate performance reports for stakeholders.

Use data to optimize future campaigns.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)



Analyze user behavior on landing pages.

Run A/B tests to improve form submissions, sign-ups, etc.

Improve user experience (UX) to increase conversions.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM)



Use CRM tools to track leads and customer interactions.

Integrate marketing efforts with sales.

Personalize marketing based on customer data.

Staying Updated with Trends



Follow industry blogs and updates (e.g., Google algorithm changes).

Experiment with emerging platforms and technologies (e.g., TikTok, AI tools).

Adapt strategies based on digital landscape shifts.
