We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Marketing Intern/Associate to help us establish a strong online presence and connect with our target audience of HR leaders, founders, and business owners. This role is ideal for someone passionate about digital marketing and eager to make a tangible impact in a growing HR tech startup. You will gain hands-on experience across various digital channels and contribute directly to our growth.
Key Responsibilities
Content Creation & Management:
Draft compelling and informative content for LinkedIn, Instagram, and potentially a company blog (articles, posts, infographics, short videos) focused on HR trends, challenges, and solutions relevant to the Indian market.
Assist in repurposing existing content into various formats suitable for different platforms.
Conduct basic keyword research to optimize content for search engines (SEO).
Schedule and publish content consistently on LinkedIn and Instagram.
Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and engage with the audience to foster community.
Identify relevant LinkedIn groups and online communities to participate in and establish thought leadership.
Assist in setting up basic email campaigns and newsletters (e.g., using MailerLite/Brevo free tiers).
Help grow the email subscriber list through content promotion
Assist in maintaining and updating website content on a basic platform (e.g., WordPress.com, Google Sites, Carrd).
Ensure calls-to-action are clear and functional.
Track basic performance metrics for social media posts and website traffic (e.g., engagement rates, reach, website visits).
Provide insights on what content resonates best with the audience.
Stay updated with the latest digital marketing trends and HR industry developments.
Research competitor marketing strategies and identify new opportunities.
Qualifications & Skills (What to look for, even in a non-paid role):
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
Strong understanding of digital marketing fundamentals (SEO, SMM, Content Marketing).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (and Hindi/regional language is a plus for the Indian market).
Familiarity with LinkedIn and Instagram platforms for business use.
Basic graphic design skills using tools like Canva.
Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn in a fast-paced startup environment.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
A genuine interest in the HR domain and a desire to make an impact.
