Role Description



We are looking for a proactive, hands-on Digital Marketing Executive to join our team! You will play a key role in driving our commercial success through the optimisation of our digital channels and the execution of high-impact B2B digital campaigns. As an "optimizer" at heart, you will spearhead the health of our HubSpot CRM and master our digital channels to ensure our expertise in cyber, AI, and risk is discoverable, nurtured, and measurable. This is a role for a technical doer who loves to audit performance data to identify gaps and implement the "always-on" nurturing programs that move prospects from their first touchpoint to a sales-ready state.

You will enjoy keeping up-to-date on the latest marketing tech trends, and help our team execute our digital search strategy, evolving our presence from traditional SEO to Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) to ensure 9ine remains the cited authority in the era of AI-search. You will have experience with lead generation and content development at all stages of the marketing funnel, utilising a range of B2B digital channels, including website CMS, social media, and webinars, to captivate our audience.

Collaboration will be key as you work closely with our Commercial, Product, and Consultancy teams across the UK and India to ensure our marketing campaigns are the best in their class. With your creative flair and results-driven approach, you will not only execute multi-channel campaigns but also take full ownership of performance reporting. By providing actionable data insights across the entire funnel, you will empower our global marketing function to iterate constantly and drive our commercial success forward in a rapidly shifting technological landscape.

Key responsibilities



You will be responsible for:

Multi-Engine Search Optimisation: Managing traditional SEO (Google/Bing) alongside Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) to ensure the brand is cited by AI tools like ChatGPT and Perplexity. Paid Media Management: Executing hands-on "Always-On" and tactical campaigns across Google and LinkedIn, with a focus on keyword hygiene and budget pacing. Full-Funnel Reporting: Tracking metrics from top-of-funnel awareness (traffic) through to bottom-of-funnel decisions (Sales Qualified Leads). Data Interpretation: Transforming raw analytics into actionable "So What?" insights to help leadership pivot marketing strategy. HubSpot CRM Governance: Acting as the primary guardian of the CRM, ensuring data hygiene, property accuracy, and lead segmentation. Automated Nurture Workflows: Building and auditing intelligent "drip" sequences in HubSpot to educate prospects on complex risk and compliance topics. Email Marketing Excellence: Drafting, A/B testing, and deploying high-deliverability emails to maintain consistent engagement throughout the customer lifecycle. Internal Process Automation: Creating backend workflows to automate sales tasks, such as lead rotation and notification triggers for the commercial team. Channel & Webinar Logistics: Managing the daily vitals of the website and social media, alongside the end-to-end technical setup and follow-up for webinars. AI Orchestration & Trend Watch: Proactively testing and implementing new AI tools to increase team efficiency while monitoring shifts in search behavior. Digital marketing projects as required, such as exploring new integrations with digital channels to optimise performance, drive work efficiency, or audit performance.

Preferred Skills and Experience



2 to 4 years of experience in digital marketing preferred Campaign and webinar management experience preferred Degree qualified or equivalent with marketing, communications, or similar experience Background experience in the education, SaaS, or technology industry, preferably in a start-up or scale-up environment, though not essential Comfortable working in a small marketing team across various activities Excellent planning and organisation skills; experience with task management software (e.g. Trello) is ideal Great writing and proof-reading skills Have strong communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently when required
