Role Overview
We're looking for a
Digital & Content Marketer
who lives and breathes social media, storytelling, and digital strategy.
You'll be responsible for building ZapUp's brand presence across channels, driving website traffic, and nurturing leads through engaging content, performance campaigns, and community marketing.
This is a creative + analytical role -- ideal for someone who enjoys ideating campaigns, creating content, analyzing performance, and experimenting with new growth strategies.
Plan and execute content calendars across website, blog, email, and social media.
Write high-performing posts, blogs, newsletters, case studies, and video scripts.
Develop content that educates users about WhatsApp marketing use cases, product features, and customer success stories.
Repurpose influencer/UGC videos into digital ads and short-form content.
2. Social Media & Community
Manage ZapUp's presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter).
Collaborate with influencers and micro-creators for user-generated content campaigns.
Engage with users, partners, and communities to boost visibility and brand trust.
Grow and maintain a strong online audience through organic and paid content strategies.
3. Performance Marketing
Plan, execute, and monitor paid campaigns on Meta Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn.
Run lead generation, retargeting, and remarketing campaigns optimized for ROI.
Track and report campaign KPIs -- CPC, CTR, CPA, ROAS, etc.
Optimize landing pages, ad creatives, and CTAs to improve conversions.
4. Marketing Automation
Use ZapUp and related tools to run drip campaigns, WhatsApp flows, and lead nurturing funnels.
Coordinate with the product and sales teams to improve lead-to-customer journeys.
5. Analytics & Growth
Measure performance across all digital channels using Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and CRM data.
Identify trends, insights, and opportunities to grow traffic and conversions.
Experiment with A/B testing and new digital marketing tactics.
Requirements
2-4 years of experience in digital marketing, content marketing, or brand strategy (SaaS or D2C preferred).
Strong copywriting and storytelling skills.
Hands-on experience with Meta Ads, Google Ads, and Analytics.
Understanding of SEO, keyword strategy, and content optimization.
Ability to ideate, shoot, and edit short-form video content (Reels, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
Familiarity with marketing automation, email tools, and CRM systems.
Data-driven mindset and comfort with numbers.
Creative, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.
Nice to Have
Experience in SaaS or WhatsApp marketing space.
Basic design skills (Canva, Figma, or Adobe Suite).
Knowledge of AI tools for content and automation.
Previous experience working with influencers or agencies.
