We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Consultant / Freelancer with deep expertise in Instagram marketing and social media strategy, specifically targeting the US region and fashion/luxury consumer segment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of growing genuine, region-specific followers and driving high-quality engagement for lifestyle, fashion, or luxury brands.
You will be responsible for assessing existing social presence, creating strategic roadmaps, executing growth campaigns, and aligning content with a high-end brand aesthetic, all while focusing on measurable performance and audience relevance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit and optimize existing Instagram accounts for audience relevance, engagement quality, and algorithmic performance.
- Develop and execute a region-specific Instagram growth strategy focused on attracting genuine, US-based followers.
- Design monthly social media calendars that align with fashion/luxury trends, seasonal campaigns, and brand tone.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (creative, content, analytics) to guide content development (Reels, stories, carousels, etc.).
- Provide hashtag strategies, influencer recommendations, posting schedules, and engagement techniques tailored for the US market.
- Regularly monitor, analyze, and report on key metrics such as follower growth, engagement rates, geo-demographics, and conversion impact.
- Recommend and execute targeted paid campaigns when necessary to amplify visibility and audience relevance.
- Stay updated on US fashion and lifestyle trends, Instagram algorithm changes, and competitive benchmarks.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience managing and scaling Instagram accounts in the fashion, luxury, or lifestyle domain.
- Demonstrated success in growing authentic followers in the US region, not through bots or inorganic methods.
- Deep understanding of Instagram Reels, stories, algorithm behaviors, and content performance metrics.
- Strong ability to define and communicate content strategies and visual direction in collaboration with designers.
- Experience running and optimizing Instagram Ads and influencer collaborations.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools (Meta Insights, Sprout, Later, Hootsuite, etc.).
- Strong communication and reporting skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Prior experience working with DTC brands or e-commerce companies in the fashion/luxury space is highly desirable.
