Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and creative

Digital Marketing and Communications Lead

to spearhead UPAY's external communications, digital outreach, and online presence. The role requires someone who can strategize, execute, and manage content across multiple channels to amplify our impact and connect with stakeholders, donors, and the wider public.

Key Responsibilities



1. Social Media & Digital Marketing



Plan, create, and manage engaging content for UPAY's social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter/X) Schedule regular posts and ensure timely responses to messages/comments Run targeted digital campaigns for fundraising, events, and awareness drives Analyze social media performance and generate monthly reports with insights

2. Communications & PR



Craft compelling communication materials including newsletters, press releases, event write-ups, and blogs Maintain a repository of impact stories, case studies, and testimonials Build media relationships and explore PR opportunities (local and national) Coordinate with print and digital media for coverage

3. Stakeholder & Donor Communication



Design and manage email campaigns for donors, partners, and volunteers Develop donor thank-you kits, reports, and annual impact communication materials Assist leadership in preparing pitch decks, concept notes, and proposals

4. Brand & Collateral Management



Ensure consistent branding across all touchpoints (print and digital) Design and manage brochures, flyers, event posters, impact reports, and other creative materials Liaise with printers and vendors when needed for offline material

5. Website & Tech Support



Coordinate content updates on UPAY's website (basic WordPress skills preferred) Work with website developers to ensure proper functioning, updates, and SEO optimization

Required Skills & Qualifications



Graduate or Postgraduate in Mass Communication, Marketing, Digital Media, or related field 6 months to 1 year of experience in digital marketing/communications. Experience in the non-profit or social sector will be an added advantage. Strong command of written and spoken English and Hindi Proficiency in using Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, etc. Basic graphic design skills and knowledge of social media trends Ability to work independently with minimal supervision A passion for social impact and storytelling

Desirable Skills



Basic video editing and photography Knowledge of SEO, SEM, and Google Ads Experience in crowdfunding campaigns
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?15,000.00 - ?18,000.00 per month
