Job Title

: Digital Academic Educator - Computer Trainer

Job Location: Kolkata - Garden Reach

Overall Responsibility:

Enthusiastic supporter of education. Committed to supporting access to quality education for all students. Believes all teachers can teach digital and coding. Demonstrated self-awareness of skills and experiences in which they can improve as a facilitator. Willingness to give and receive feedback in a collaborative working environment. Prior or current teaching experience. Strong background in curriculum focus area like computer science, preferably through past teaching experience. Medium level and more of comfort with technology, including virtual meeting tools. Demonstrated empathy for learners with a variety of backgrounds and levels of experience. Motivated self-starter. To engage with school teachers and headmasters and regularly update them on the project progress in the school. To ensure smooth coordination and communication with regards to the holistic development component of the project with the school authorities. To supervise and provide support to the Community Co-ordinators in delivery of Community Connect Tool Kit aimed at developing a supportive eco system (Parents, SMC Members, Community at large) for the adolescent in the community. To participate in the capacity building programs as per the project design. To support and facilitate data collection for M&E purposes and maintain records like MIS, attendance and daily activities conducted by children. To keep oneself updated on all the developments in safety rules, regulation child rights and protection and ensuring its integration in programs.

Desired Candidate's Profile:

Qualification:

Minimum graduation. (Computer Science background will be added advantage)

Experience:

1-6 years Proven experience as Computer Trainer/ Instructor. Sound knowledge of computer fundamentals and MS Office. Willingness to work with school authorities and community members. Openness to field visits as and when necessary.
