Digital Designer (Front-End Developer)

The Digital Designer is a technical resource responsible for creating event websites and mobile apps. This individual will be leading strategic conversations with clients, vetting requirements, and translating their needs into successful events. The ideal candidate should be extremely motivated with excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fun work environment. We\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who gets excited about working with multiple technologies, proposes new and creative ideas, and learning new things.

This position will be part of the Digital Services team and report to the Digital Services Manager. The Digital Designers will sit onsite in our Gurgaon office in India. This position is 100% client-facing.

Main Responsibilities & Duties:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients.
  • Testing and improving the design of the website.
  • Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
  • Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards.
  • Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients.
  • Demonstrate detailed product knowledge when assisting clients via phone and email
  • Manage all aspects of event website creation and maintenance:
  • Create online attendee registration website in line with client branding
  • Manage all aspects of mobile app creation and maintenance:
  • Creation and maintenance of mobile apps
  • Create and maintain templates based on client requirements
  • Manage different projects with competing deadlines and deliverables
  • Partner with operations and account management to support client\xe2\x80\x99s long-term account goals
What You Need for this Position
  • Bachelor\'s degree with strong academic credentials preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of work experience preferably in the meetings industry, software or other high-tech industry
  • Good understanding of content management systems.
  • Strong, confident, and outgoing telephone presence and solid customer presentation skills
  • Highly articulate, detail-oriented, yet able to simplify complex concepts into layman\xe2\x80\x99s terms for greater understanding
  • Ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism even in demanding circumstances
  • Comfortable using general office software applications, sales automation products such as Salesforce.com and web collaboration tools like WebEx a plus
  • Experience using Cvent platform, Flex registration, new reports, and portals preferred;
  • Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work in a global, geographically dispersed environment
