About the Role
We are seeking a performance-driven Digital Demand Generation Manager to lead our global digital marketing efforts and deliver measurable growth in traffic, conversions, and lead generation. This role is responsible for overseeing paid media, SEO, web experience, and digital customer engagement strategies across all online channels.
Reporting to the Content & PR Manager, you'll play a critical role in aligning digital strategy with marketing messaging and revenue goals, while managing a small team. You'll own and optimise our paid digital programs, collaborate with the web and operations teams to track performance, and build out an integrated digital ecosystem to strengthen customer relationships and drive qualified traffic.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Demand Strategy & Execution
Own the execution and optimisation of all digital demand generation programs - including paid search (PPC), display, retargeting, paid social, and SEO
Drive traffic, engagement, and conversions through continuous optimisation of campaigns and landing pages
Partner with the web team to evolve our website experience to improve performance, content discoverability, and lead generation
Customer Engagement & Personalisation
Develop and execute a strategy to grow and engage customers across digital touchpoints - email, social, search, web, and mobile
Use analytics and customer data to deliver personalised experiences and messaging based on personas, segmentation, behavior, and lifecycle stage
Explore and implement loyalty or nurturing programs to support retention and deeper engagement
Channel Management & Analytics
Monitor and report on key digital KPIs, including site traffic, conversion rate, cost per lead, and campaign ROI
Work with Marketing Ops and BI teams to ensure clean data and accurate attribution across platforms
Develop a segmentation model to enable more targeted and effective digital campaigns
Stay informed on evolving trends in AI-driven search (e.g., generative AI in search engines, voice search, predictive targeting) and incorporate emerging practices into digital strategies
Digital Platform Enablement
Evaluate and recommend digital platforms (e.g., web tools, marketing automation, personalization engines) to support growth and innovation
Partner with internal stakeholders and vendors to define best practices and standardise digital campaign execution
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Manage and mentor the Senior Web Developer and Digital & Social Media Specialist, fostering a high-performance, insights-led team
Align with content, PR, events, and product marketing to ensure a unified digital voice and campaign integration
Collaborate with regional marketing and sales teams to support digital lead generation at a local level
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of experience in digital demand generation or performance marketing, ideally in a B2B or SaaS environment
Proven expertise managing PPC, paid social, SEO, and website performance to drive pipeline growth
Strong understanding of customer segmentation, lead nurturing, and digital campaign personalisation
Experience managing and developing a digital or web team
Highly data-driven with experience using platforms like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce, and ad platforms (e.g., Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads)
Good understanding of how AI is shaping digital marketing, particularly in areas like search, targeting, automation, and content delivery
Excellent project management, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimisation (CRO) tools
Familiarity with web UX principles, CMS platforms, and digital content strategy
Exposure to packaging, print, or manufacturing industries
Knowledge of HTML, SEO tools, or analytics platforms such as SEMrush, Moz, or GA4
Experience leveraging AI-powered tools or platforms for SEO, paid media optimisation, or audience segmentation
