Business Descriptor: The role holder enables in his role seamless digital customer and relationship experience with HSBC through internal and partnership digital solutions. Principal Responsibilities:
  • The role holder will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to build best in class digital propositions for identified customer groups (personas) as well as products.
  • The role holder will be responsible for digital/ technology partnerships and will cover the regulatory and compliance aspects of any such partnerships.
  • Responsible for new initiatives to reduce cost to acquire and cost to serve customers. The role holder will be expected to undertake thorough competition and opportunity mapping for select customer personas and digital product propositions, leveraging India stack and fintech eco-systems.
  • The role holder is expected to collaborate with product teams in lending, transaction banking, products, transformation and tech team in line with India CMB Business Strategy to deliver digital outcomes and seamless client experience in (a) Onboarding (b) Credit (c) Servicing (d) Transactional journeys and ( e) Building Efficiencies
  • Work with fintech partners and market partners to deliver HSBC Interface for customers with value added solutions from HSBC Partners. Design UI/UX with partners for HSBC interface that enhances customer experience.
  • Design and build with partners co-lending platform, RM dash board and loan management solution for HSBC.
  • Work with global teams on data architecture & orchestration layer, API enablement with core banking systems.
  • Build digital infrastructure that enables HSBC to connect with multiple distribution partners.
  • The role holder should ensure the journey complies with the internal and regulatory data rules and privacy compliances.





Requirements
Essential:
  • Minimum of 10 years proven and progressive experience across or including, corporate banking experience & fintech experience delivering digital customer journeys or product.
  • Strong knowledge of the Indian digital ecosystem, fin-techs, new economy and emerging themes
  • Have a demonstrated track record of designing and leading digital journeys and collaborating with product partners
  • Deep expertise and experience in own area with extensive knowledge of own regional marketplace
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sector trends and regulatory environment
  • Proven track record of building new businesses from scratch
  • People management experience, including managing team managers
  • Strong organisational, analytical, negotiation, communication, teamwork and influencing skills
  • Extensive knowledge and proven sales success with the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s products and services, or equivalent
  • Credit training and equivalent experience
  • Strong background in customer facing roles
  • In-depth knowledge of regulations impacting the business and the lending and credit approval process
  • Ability to work collaboratively across internal and external stake holders
  • Have a demonstrated track record of managing customer relationships
Desired
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, related field, or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of local operating markets and their corresponding span(s) of control within assigned country
  • Experience of driving strategic change in a matrix environment
  • Extensive product knowledge of Corporate Banking

Additional Information
  • Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
