Chettinad Super Speciality Hospital is seeking a dedicated and qualified Dietician to provide evidence-based nutritional care to patients. The role involves assessing nutritional needs, planning therapeutic diets, and supporting patient recovery through effective counseling and coordination with the clinical team.
Key Responsibilities
Assess patients' nutritional status and dietary requirements
Prepare individualized diet plans based on medical conditions
Provide nutrition counseling to patients and their families
Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
Monitor patient progress and revise diet plans as needed
Educate patients on lifestyle modification and healthy eating habits
Handle therapeutic diets (Diabetic, Cardiac, Renal, ICU, etc.)
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards
Eligibility Criteria
Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Nutrition & Dietetics
Experience: 1-3 years in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of clinical nutrition and therapeutic diet planning
