Job Description

:

• Patient nutrition management supervision and tasting of normal and therapeutic food served to patients.
• Fulfilling patient nutritional requirement while planning the discharge diet for nutritional care at home.
• Supervising loading of trolleys and assisting chief dietician and senior dieticians in all departmental activities.
• Daily meeting patients and planning diets according to their medical condition.
• On a daily basis giving diet counselling and planning diets for the patient getting discharge & maintain documentation.
• To assist in menu planning on a weekly basis.
• Preparing duty rosters on a weekly basis and periodically training interns.
• Conducting weekly health checkup executive lectures and periodically giving corporate lectures and presentations on various topics.
• To undertake various other assignment of the department for e.g.; standardizing special feeds, diets and developing patient records.
• Responsible for planning effective patient therapeutic diets.
• Taking patient feedback about the food services.
• Optimally utilize the dietary information systems.
• Supervise food service attendants during the loading of patient diets.
• Any other work assigned by seniors.
