Assess patient's nutritional needs based on medical conditions, lab results, and dietary history.
Develop individualized nutrition care plans aligned with clinical goals and patient preferences.
Provide evidence-based dietary counseling to patients and their families.
Monitor patients' progress and adjust nutritional plans as needed.
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in medical records promptly and accurately.
Supervise and mentor junior dietitians, interns, and support staff.
Conduct patient education sessions and group workshops as required.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and case discussions.
Stay updated on the latest nutrition science and clinical dietetics practices.
Support clinical research initiatives and contribute to quality improvement projects.
Develop and review clinical nutrition policies and procedures.
Assist in menu planning and nutritional analysis of patient meals.
Provide expert input during nutrition-related audits and accreditations.
