Nutritional assessments: Evaluate patients' nutritional needs and health, including those with complex medical conditions
Diet development: Create meal plans for patients based on their medical needs and preferences
Nutrition education: Counsel patients on nutrition and healthy eating habits, and educate other healthcare professionals
Patient care: Work with patients to help them set and achieve their health goals
Kitchen and dining room management: Oversee the operation of kitchens and dining rooms to ensure patients and staff receive nutritious food
Menu planning: Supervise menu planning for special functions
Food preparation and distribution: Ensure food preparation and distribution is safe
Patient record keeping: Maintain accurate records of assessments and interventions
Collaboration: Work with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers
