Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled

Die Maker

with strong expertise in

GDC (Gravity Die Casting)

to design, fabricate, assemble, and maintain dies, molds, and tooling components. The role involves precision machining, die fitting, and ensuring high-quality, dimensionally accurate dies for production efficiency and long tool life.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, manufacture, and assemble dies, molds, and GDC tooling as per design and production requirements. Operate machines such as lathe, milling, surface grinding, drilling, and EDM for die manufacturing. Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot

GDC dies

for casting operations to ensure defect-free output. Perform regular die maintenance, repair, and modification to improve durability and performance. Inspect dies using precision measuring instruments (micrometer, vernier, height gauge, etc.). Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and CAD models accurately. Collaborate with design, casting, and production teams for die improvement and optimization. Ensure tool room cleanliness, proper storage, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

ITI / Diploma in Tool & Die Making or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

3-8 years in die manufacturing, with hands-on experience in

GDC die making and maintenance

. Proficiency in machining operations (lathe, milling, grinding, drilling). Strong understanding of

Gravity Die Casting

principles and processes. Knowledge of die assembly, fitting, finishing, and shot life improvement techniques. Ability to work independently with precision and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹11,784.76 - ₹55,000.00 per month
