Purpose of the Role

Developing and implementing quality control activities, as well as overseeing the work of quality control personnel and other staff with respect to Incoming and Testing quality part of the value chain to achieve strategic operational goals

Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Enabling achievement of quality targets by establishing and implementing stringent Incoming and Testing quality control activities Monitor critical quality metrics and parameters required to meet profitability and customer satisfaction targets Responsible for reduction of COPQ(Cost of Poor Quality) value within Incoming part of the value chain Ensure the highest quality output that meets customers' expectation in the most cost effective manner, through Incoming and Testing quality control activities along with action planning for identified gaps Ensure inspections and testing of all types of incoming raw materials, components, and products Ensure efficient testing procedures on materials and products for composites business Establishment of incoming testing and QC facility Ensure Testing and Review Analysis report for all incoming raw materials. Review quality manual related documents updation and control Verify and approve the Inspection reports Support for RFQ activities related to testing Ensure chemical test and lab requirements meeting TQM, AS9100 & Nadcap requirements Ensure on time calibration of Lab equipment and apparatus Verify on time Implementation of Corrective Action Responsible for Non Destructive Testing of composite products and their assemblies Liaison with CFT team to resolve any issues or complaints, ensuring timely & effective corrective actions are agreed, implemented and monitored Coordinate and participate during the audit and ensure all the respective quality documents are maintained and stored. Maintain all the documentation and reports as per TQM, AS9100,Nadcap & customer requirements Record the Non conformance register at Quality Clinic and submit the parts with tag and 8D Report for RCA Review, Set, and track suitable targets and KPIs for the team to ensure effective performance and delivery Oversee the workflow and work assignments of the team to ensure effective collaboration among teams, team members and consistent, quality work Coordinate with the automation team, to identify use cases , and drive automation initiatives within Incoming and Testing QC Mentoring and managing a team of professionals to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively. * Monitor Sectional performance and identify areas of strengths and opportunities for development
