Job Description

Key Responsibilities:





1. Production & Operations Management

Oversee end-to-end ghee production from butter processing to packaging and storage. Ensure smooth functioning of all machinery, utilities (boilers, RO, ETP), and infrastructure. Optimize production efficiency to achieve monthly and annual output targets.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

Maintain the highest standards of product quality, hygiene, and consistency. Implement and monitor

FSSAI, AGMARK, GMP, HACCP, and ISO

standards. Ensure strict compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.

3. Team & Resource Management

Lead and supervise a team of ~80 plant personnel, including skilled, semi-skilled, and unskilled staff. Train, motivate, and develop plant staff to enhance productivity and efficiency. Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams for raw material and packaging supplies.

4. Process Improvement & Cost Control

Implement best practices for process optimization, energy conservation, and waste reduction. Monitor and control production costs, ensuring profitability of plant operations. Drive continuous improvement through lean manufacturing and automation initiatives.

5. Maintenance & Safety

Ensure preventive and breakdown maintenance of all plant equipment. Promote a culture of safety, ensuring adherence to all health and environmental guidelines. Coordinate with engineering teams for smooth utility and plant infrastructure support.

6. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare and present regular MIS reports on production, quality, and efficiency. Work closely with senior management to align production with business goals. Support R&D and new product development initiatives as required.




Qualifications & Skills



B.Tech / M.Tech in Dairy Technology / Food Technology / Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5-7 years of proven experience in

dairy, ghee, edible oil, or FMCG food processing industry

. Strong knowledge of dairy processing equipment (boilers, clarifiers, CIP systems, packaging lines). Excellent leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills. Sound understanding of

food safety, quality standards, and compliance requirements

. * Proficiency in production planning, cost management, and ERP systems.
