Diamond Assorter-Gold & Diamond Jewellery

Location: Swargate , Pune

Job timings: 10 am to 7 pm

Salary: upto 60k

Role Overview

Responsible for diamond planning, assorting, quality checks, stock management, customization handling, and coordination for IGI certification to support smooth production and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Review bagging sheets and plan diamond requirements. Identify and report diamond procurement needs. Coordinate diamond requirement lists with senior management. Verify received diamonds for weight, size, shape, clarity, and quality. Prepare final diamond selections and share with Operations for purchase. Organize empty pockets and prepare materials for diamond bagging. Perform size-wise counting, weighing, and accurate diamond bagging. Share bagging details for JMS software entry. Conduct daily physical stock verification and reconcile with JMS records. Handle diamond size issues due to CAD or casting constraints. Manage customer-specific customization (size, clarity, color, etc.). Coordinate IGI replacements in case of rejection. Perform final QC post-IGI (setting, rhodium, finishing). Coordinate with karigars for modifications and order readiness. Support operations in stock tallying, exhibitions, tours, and dispatches.

Candidate Requirements

Education:

HSC / Diploma / Graduate (Commerce, Jewellery, Gemology preferred)

Experience:

2-5 years in diamond assorting, jewellery manufacturing, planning, or QC

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of 4Cs of diamonds Accurate diamond measurement and assortment skills Experience with JMS or jewellery software (preferred)

Certifications (Preferred):

GIA / IGI Diamond Grading Gemology or jewellery-related certifications

Key Skills

High accuracy in counting, weighing, and documentation Strong attention to detail and integrity Good coordination and problem-solving skills Ability to handle high-value inventory under tight timelines
