Set up and prepare the dialysis equipment for patient use, including connecting tubes, checking dialysis machines, and calibrating instruments Monitor patients during dialysis treatment and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and respiration Observe patients for any signs of discomfort or adverse reactions during treatment and report any concerns to the supervising nurse or physician Administer and adjust medication dosages as prescribed by the physician Maintain accurate and complete medical records of patient care, including vital signs, medication administration, and any adverse reactions Ensure that the dialysis equipment is properly cleaned and sterilized after each use Provide emotional support to patients and their families during the dialysis treatment process
