Dialysis Technician - Rahi Care Pvt. Ltd.

Experience: 1 to 8 years

Salary: ₹12,000 - ?20,000

Location: Ner chowk



1. Patient Care

Prepare and assess patients before starting dialysis.

Measure and record BP, pulse, temperature, and weight.

Monitor patient condition throughout dialysis.

Provide immediate assistance in case of any complications.

Maintain proper hygiene and patient safety.

2. Machine Handling

Set up dialysis machines and conduct priming correctly.

Operate Hemodialysis machines (HD).

Monitor arterial & venous pressures, UF rate, conductivity, temperature, etc.

Check dialyzer and tubing for any leakage or malfunction.

Perform proper rinse-back procedures.

3. Dialysis Procedure

Cannulation of AV fistula/AV graft.

Handling temporary & permanent catheters.

Maintain prescribed dialysis time, UF goals, and dialysate flow.

Manage emergency conditions like hypotension, shivering, cramps, and tachycardia.

4. Documentation & Reporting

Maintain daily dialysis records, patient charts, and treatment sheets.

Update machine logs, reuse records (if applicable), and consumable usage.

Report abnormalities to the Dialysis In-charge/Doctor.

5. Infection Control

Follow strict infection control policies (universal precautions).

Proper fumigation, cleaning, and sanitization of dialysis unit.

Safe disposal of biomedical waste.

6. Consumable & Inventory Management

Check availability of dialyzers, tubing, needles, heparin, and other consumables.

Inform center manager about stock requirements.

Maintain usage records.

7. Coordination & Communication

Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and management.

Communicate clearly with patients and attendants.

Handle patients with care and empathy.

8. Other Responsibilities

Attend training sessions and skill-upgradation programs.

Follow company protocols and guidelines.

Support new technicians and help in training them.
