Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care :-

Monitoring patients:

Observing patients during dialysis to identify and address any issues or complications.

Assisting patients:

Providing emotional support and answering questions or concerns.

Educating patients:

Explaining the dialysis process and providing information on proper healthcare while on dialysis.

Assisting with activities of daily living:

Helping patients with personal care and hygiene.

Equipment Operation and Maintenance :-

Preparing dialysis machines:

Assembling and ensuring the proper functioning of dialysis machines before treatment.

Operating dialysis machines:

Connecting patients to the machine and adjusting settings as needed.

Maintaining equipment:

Cleaning, sterilizing, and maintaining dialysis machines and equipment.

Troubleshooting:

Identifying and resolving technical issues with dialysis machines.

Technical Skills :-

Vascular Access:

Assisting with the cannulation of vascular access sites (fistulas, grafts, or catheters).

Vital Sign Monitoring:

Checking and recording patients' vital signs.

Documentation:

Maintaining accurate records of patient treatments and observations.

Water Treatment System:

Monitoring and testing the water treatment system according to unit policy.

Collaboration :-

Working with medical professionals:

Collaborating with nurses and doctors to ensure optimal patient care.

Communicating with patients and families:

Explaining procedures and providing information to patients and their families.

Other Duties :-

Responding to emergencies:

Responding to dialysis-related emergencies in patients and equipment.

Following infection control policies and procedures

Maintaining a safe, healthy, and secure environment

Following biomedical waste disposal protocols

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
