?We are looking for a skilled and compassionate

Dialysis Technician

with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience to join our medical team at Koyili Hospital, Kannur. The ideal candidate must be proficient in operating dialysis machinery, managing patient care during procedures, and must be willing to work rotational shifts, including

night shifts

Key Responsibilities

Machine Preparation:

Prime and prepare dialysis machines (Fresenius/Nipro/etc.) prior to patient arrival, ensuring all safety checks are passed. ?

Patient Care:

Perform AV fistula/graft cannulation and catheter connections with strict aseptic technique. ?

Monitoring:

Continuously monitor patient vitals (BP, Pulse, SPO2) and machine parameters (pressure, conductivity) throughout the dialysis cycle. ?

Emergency Management:

Recognize and respond immediately to complications such as hypotension, cramping, clotting, or blood leaks during the shift. ?

Post-Dialysis:

Safely disconnect patients, ensure hemostasis (bleeding control), and perform machine disinfection/ sterilization after every session. ?

Documentation:

Maintain accurate patient treatment sheets and log machine maintenance records. ?

Night Shift Protocol:

Independently manage the unit during night shifts (under the guidance of the Duty Medical Officer), ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Requirements & Qualifications

Education:

Diploma or B.Sc in Dialysis Technology/Renal Dialysis. ?

Experience:

Minimum 1 - 2 years:

of clinical experience in a dialysis unit is mandatory. ?

Technical Skills:

Proficiency in Insert Machine Types. ?

Shift Availability:

Must be flexible to work

Day and Night shifts

on a rotational basis. ?

Certifications:

Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is a plus but not mandatory. ?

Soft Skills:

Excellent bedside manner, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm under pressure.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ?10,337.60 - ?15,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
